since when? for the longest time he supported the bantustan solution that's where his infamous "give ahmed a seat on the bus so that he may lessen his demands" line came from. what does he mean by 2 state? is it where it's a basic aparthied state that is a palestinian state in name only or no? Which friedman was that? you know he says different things depending on what forum he's using. read his speeches or articles not published in the NYTimes. it's a totally different picture. he's such a brazen propagandist it doesn't really matter what he says.

bushs speech called for lots of nice things but is it serious? or does it bide time for israel to dismantle the PA?
