Alas. Having just pulled a two-week volunteer stint with the Nader event, I did not find my comrades well informed. And that's compared to ME! The two days I spent several hours at headquarters with the people running the show and the head of the local Greens just happened to be the days of the Chavez coup. I realize these folks were busy pulling together a good event but I got the impression that not only were they not up on the coup but that they were unaware that Chavez might be a US target or anything else that would make the situation significant. Other than appologizing for being late as I was checking around the web to find out what was happening, I didn't press the subject due to lack of, not interest really, but awareness. It was kinda depressing.
