Romantic anti-capitalism is the term used by Michael Lowy in his book from Verso from the late 70's or early 80's on G. Lukacs. Sadly out of print. In about two hundred pgs, it gives the best review of Lukacs trajectory towards bolshevism. (Also see another out of print Verso title by Lukacs, "From Ethics to Tactics, " if memory serves. It includes an essay, originally translated for the New School journal, "Social Research, " in the early 70's, The Moral Problem of Bolshevism, " if memory serves, from 1918. Others that expand on Lowy, on Lukacs as romantic anti-capitalist are Agnes Heller and the other members of the Budapest School, now mostly dispersed in Australia. Also see, "The Young Lukacs and the Origins of Western marxism, " by Paul Breines and Andrew Arato, " late 70s's. Out of print as well. Michael Pugliese
