It's not just "Cambodians". Even unionised workforces in mature/developed
economies are increasing subject to job migration: e.g. the Singaporean
daily Straits_Times now employs sub-editors in Sydney, because --- I can
assure you from personal experience --- the wages of Australian journalists
are significantly lower than journalists in other English speaking
countries.
Obviously this will keep on happening as long as wages and conditions are
significantly different from one country to another _and_ workers continue
to organise nationally instead of globally.
