OK. It took me a while, but now I see what's wrong with this picture. What
seems to have completely dropped out of the equation is love/desire. I
mean, leaving aside the guns, the adrenaline, the whips, etc., there is the
original fact of love or lust which you are making out to be the
epiphenomena. Curious. It's like we don't have real feelings anymore; they
are just the result of unrelated/artificial stimuli.
