You know, this western leftie tendency to bundle up entirely different societies and states (Russia,Turkey,Irak, etc) into a catch-all category of ethnic cleansers, it looks a lot like the dimwitted arrogance that produced the "axis of evil".

Hakki -----------

Thank you. As I have mentioned before, there is no policy of ethnic cleansing of Chechens in Russia. None. Zero. NICHEGO! What there is as a clumsily run operation by a cash-strapped military whose ground troops have a level of morale hovering a few infinitesimals above zero fighting against a fanatical opponent that makes a point of hiding amoung civilians. There is not, and there never has been, and there likely never will be, any sort of plan to run the Chechens out of Chechnya. This would be pretty hard to do in any case, since there are large groups of Chechens, especially in the largely secular north, who are pro-Russian and without whom the Russian campaign would be pretty much impossible (and no, these people do not fall into some sort of "collaborator class").

The latest "separatist" -- I use the term in scare quotes since, although it seems to be the accepted word in the West, the current war has nothing to do with separatism -- tactic, actually, is giving explosives to women, unbenownst to the women of course, and then sending them into crowded areas to get blown up.
