There's also a middle position, no? Namely that's it's bottomed but it won't rise much this year, instead of the usual post-recession bounce. The New York Times article on that position quoted Levy of the Levy Institute as agreeing that this was likely (and good in his opinion, for working off imbalances). And there's an op-ed in today's FT saying the same.
