We have the war to get through.  Bad karma has dragged
Monkey Boy face to face with Naga, the cobra god that
rests upon the neck of Shiva the Destroyer, and he stares 
transfixed into its gleaming eyes.

The war may lead to a great variety of catastrophes.  It
is difficult to make plans for all of them.
