William Greider had a piece in the Nation about the corporate mess.
He pointed out that several unions are pursuing lawsuits where their
union members are also shareholders. So while some of this may work
to the benefit of social reform, it seems to me that workers and
investors ultimately have very different interests. This sure does
mess up thinking about unions in the old way.
