William Greider had a piece in the Nation about the corporate mess. He pointed out that several unions are pursuing lawsuits where their union members are also shareholders. So while some of this may work to the benefit of social reform, it seems to me that workers and investors ultimately have very different interests. This sure does mess up thinking about unions in the old way.
