As a member of the CWI in Britain, i agree with Geert on the Left Party site. Talk about bullshit. For a start the Left Party amounts to what Petroni joined the CWI with (as a faction of the LIT), about 12-15 members. When the declaration of the 'Class Struggle Fraction' was made, it was signed by apparently 12 people. In fact Petroni signed it about 3-4 times in different guises. He claims that no debate took place and the rank and file comrades don't know whats going on. Bull. The IS of the CWI sent out Petronis document and the IS reply, interestingly also a statement from the Brazilian CWI leadership denouncing Petroni's individualist intervention in Argentina. The CSF is not a faction on the CWI but a separate organisation. The American comrades that I have spoken hated Petroni with a passion. On other points as well, the SP conference was delegate based, so of
course the full membership would not be there.
Petroni is an opportunist pure and simple.
