That wasn't an Al-Jazeera series. It was another Arabic-language satellite network. Al-Jazeera is a serious news outlet - though I completely understand the impulse to baselessly slur a news outlet whose reporting might make you feel uncomfortable.
So "what do we do with" the millions of Americans who watch the 700 Club, whose host also believes in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and thinks homosexuals caused the Sept. 11 attacks? Their deluded worldview clearly has helped cause the installation of a religious fundamentalist as president, who does not feel bound by solemn treaty obligations or norms of international conduct, and who commands thousands of nuclear warheads.
