Not all of us liberals care for capitalism. Liberal means lots of things, In 
Europe and Latin AMerica, it means Thatcherite. In US political discourse, 
it means the big govt social welfare wing of the Democrat Party (used to be 
liberal Repugs too, I actually worked for one, Judge Ilana Diamond Rovner of 
the 7th Circuit, more "left" than all but two Dems on that court). In the 
lwexicon of political philosophy it means support for the maininstitutions 
of a constutional democracy, as in a discussion we have had recently. That's 
thes ort of liberal I am. As I tried to explain to Tahir, that's compatible 
with socialism.
