My condolences. Sounds just like the religious right. 

In fact, I did a pro-porn workshop at a convention of the American Library
Association, which generated 500+ angry letters to the association from
right wing fundamentalists.

One of the few times that I've felt that my activism hit a clear bulls
eye.
