You don't seem to have noticed the title. (It's "The Chorus and Cassandra.") I meant to refer to the vagaries of Hitchens' views: he of course thought that Clinton was eminently impeachable but also attacked Chomsky on the assault on Afghanistan. Yet even he knew that the charges against Chomsky about Cambodia were malign nonsense. And I do agree that there is something sophomoric about the attack. --CGE
