What's a reasonable search is pretty much what the Supreme Court says it is, it's very ad hoc. Basically you are still pretty much OK in your own home or where you are living, you have no reasonable expectation of privacy at all in a car, and damn little outside your house, and if you engage in any voluntary or indeed involuntary (like attending school) last few terms Court came down with some decent 4A decisions befire 9/11, but that is probably history.

Right, they're private anyway, the 4A only applies to the state. There may be state lawsregulating what they can do to you in terms of drug testing.
