No, the point is that the racism that pervades Israeli society has predisposed them to allow people of dubius Jewish background in so long as they're N.European whites --blond hair and blue eyes are a plus. The racist contempt for the local araboushim and their culture is so strong that it has spilled over as contempt for and racism towards the sephardic jewish community. -p
