Senators condemn Arafat, praise Israeli "appropriate measures"

Note that this ridiculously one-sided condemnation of Arafat, and blanket endorsement of Israel in taking "necessary and appropriate measures to assure security" (i.e., killing Palestinians), is signed by Senate "progressives" Paul Wellstone, John Edwards, Russ Feingold, and Hillary Clinton. Not to mention Tom Daschle, Jim Jeffords, Joe Lieberman and Jesse Helms. CK
