Absolutely. Needed right now (actually, needed long ago) is action under Article 7 of the UN Charter imposing a total economic and military embargo against Israel. After the US veto of a Security Council resolution to that effect, the necessary action can and should be taken by the General Assembly under the (US-invented) "Uniting For Peace" resolution.

I'm not holding my breath till then.
