No, I've alwys said that ll the military we need is the National Guard and the Coast Guard--gotta protect ourselves against them rambunctious Canucks and hostile Mexicanos, not to mention the Nicaraguans just three days drive from Brownville, TX. But really, coastal defense is about all we need.

If we lacked the ability to demolish small countries and had to rely on international cooperation for protection, like Luxembourg, the world would be a better place. So, Dennis, why should we kill thousands of helpless people who havedone us no harm merely beacuse we can, rather than doing the right thing and going through international organizations as we we are committed to by the law of thw land, i.e., treaties we have not unsigned or or torn up, at least formally.
