I'll never forget, back in the early eighties(?) going to see 
"Ghostbusters" and getting this really creepy feeling that things were 
about to change for the way worst. Do you guys remember that movie? A team 
of university smart alecs invent a machine for cleaning up "ghosts" -- (the 
end of history). The villain of the movie is the EPA!!!! In the first 
scene, the character played by Murray is adminstering a psychology test in 
which the subject gets a small electric shock if he answers wrong: the 
pretty girl (who gets everything wrong) gets no shock; a male student (who 
gets the answers right) gets shocked. Everyone in the audience thought this 
was funny.
I had a similar moment watching "The Company of Men" -- a movie that made 
me want to throw up or get very drunk, but which captured the 90's to a T.
