Aha. On October 18th, 1977 three people in solitary confinement in a maximum security prison, who had no contact with each other, all decide to kill themselves at the same time. One of them, despite being in a maximum security prison in isolation, manages to have a pistol. He doesn't manage to shoot himself successfully at first with it, two bullets hit the walls (and not him) before "he" successfully blows a hole through his head. His other friend in solitary manages to have a gun as well. He offs himself at the same time. Imgard Moeller, decided to kill herself a little more conventionally - she makes a noose and hangs herself.

Luckily for us, the Post can condense all this information for us into "Baader, Ensslin and Raspe killed themselves in prison in October 1977." Then after this unfortunate incident they cut their brains out to examine for science. Maybe they sent them to Brazil for Doctor Mengele to examine.
