Leftist History of U.S. Special Forces?

Would anyone know if such a thing exists, or is
subsumed within a larger history?  I've been reading
John Cooley's Unholy Wars, about Afghanistan, and I'm
struck at how often the SF shows up whenever there's
evil to be done.  Thanks!
