Welcome to the Iraq Peace Team website
In the face of recent threats against Iraq, Voices in the Wilderness [@ <http://www.nonviolence.org/vitw>] has initiated an "Iraq Peace Team" plan [@ <http://iraqpeaceteam.org/pages/announcement.html>]. Since September 2002, seasoned nonviolent activists have been on the ground in Iraq standing in solidarity with the people of Iraq while at the same time working to prevent a US attack.
If you are interested in joining IPT in Iraq, please visit the Join page [@ <http://iraqpeaceteam.org/pages/join.html>] and fill out the application [@ <http://iraqpeaceteam.org/pages/application.html>].
In the event of a US attack, this website will become a multimedia resource site for news from the team on the ground in Iraq as well as a clearinghouse for anti-war news and strategies here at home.
