Though I have this weird feeling I should recall your position --

-- are you saying that gender is an avoidable 'slang' in comparison to class (or citing someone else to that effect)? Because I wouldn't agree, despite my previous post. There's a difference between 'gender' and 'sexual difference' of course but also a difference between 'gender' and 'gender as conflict of interest' (which is what I thought we were talking about).
