I disagree, but anyway, Hitchens new book "Why Orwell Matters" made it to number 3 on Amazon.com and now is at 5. I actually read the book which was recently published and it is definitely a leftwing book. However, Hitchens seems to be implying that the reasons why Orwell wouldn't shut up about the fact that many leftwingers and liberals at the time were suckers for Stalin are analogous to the reasons why Hitchens won't shut up about the fact so many on the left today are suckers for Hussein, Osama bin Laden, Milosevic, etc. And then the smartass has blurbs on the back from Vidal, Said, and Sontag!
