Man, I thought I was pessimistic. I think it's important to keep in mind that the majority of the U. S. population disagrees with Shrub's plan for unilateral action. Granted, it's bombs away if the UN comes along, but the general public is not solidly behind Bush's plan, despite the propaganda blitz.
What I'm afraid of is some kind of desperate Gulf-of-Tonkin misinformation campaign that will convince people to go to war now.
