No, he said that Steve supported an idiotic position. That is not an ad hominem. So, take Hitch up on his arguments, rather than make claims about what he said that aren't true and instead of suggesting his arguments are worthless because of some personal issues you've decided he has. Now THAT'S an ad hominem. And, from that definition, I don't believe that anyone has actually thrown an ad hom at anyone around here lately, save for LNP3.exe.
