I caught NTV US a couple of weeks ago --wasn't even aware they had it.

Speculation -- I doubt a Chechen warlord's definition of "child" corresponds with that of most Russians. There are Chechen fighters who are 12-13 years old.

I heard several of them tried to run away. So much for your martyr credentials. Barayev's body was found with a bottle of cognac. Mujaheedin are a wierd bunch.

As I said earlier, I think Alpha took the best possible of a list of horrible options.

I'm still undecided on this. It wouldn't be hard to bribe a doctor to get the info (but then, it wouldn't be hard to get the info in other ways).

If it meant I would have an 80% chance of survival instead of a 0% one, I would be all for it.
