Alas, even when PBS has a chance to air a lively leftist series,
it drops the ball. Why Mental Engineering (www.mentalengineering.com)
--originally shown on publcia ccess cable in Minneapolis, then shown
for a season on a few PBS stations--can't get some fairly minuscale
funding for another season is rather appalling. Meanwhile, PBS has
no trouble airing the infantile rants of John McLaughlin, the
corporate rants of Fortune's editors, or the rose-colored rants
of Edward Bennett.
