-Ummm Nathan you did not actually intend to imply that only the poor are -working people did you? I know you know that a lot of people who are -not poor are still working class. You phrased it that way because Wojo -talked about "lower class males" and so you ended up talking of the -poor while using the term "working class" right?

I never used the word "working class" specifically because of Wojo's use of the "lower class" phrase; we can have a whole class stratification debate again, but the point was the simple one that white males are not the primary group for progressives to organize. I don't advocate ignoring them-- heck, I'm the compromising lesser-evil pragmatist here -- but I don't measure the progressive possibilities of the American people by the reactionary core of white conservative males.
