Henwood Replace Hitchens?

Unfortunately, I don't think there are many out there
with the incendiary verve of Cockburn, Hitchens and
Pollitt.  There just haven't been forums to develop
left writers with strong voices and distinctive prose
styles. Maybe Adolph Reed but he's not popular with
the editors. Jill Nelson? I can't think of any others.

Wait, there's that Henwood guy in New York.  Yes, he
would do just fine.  I think I'll whip off an e-mail
to the editors recommending him right now.  He lives 
down the street; maybe he could start on Monday....
