Ah yes, tax increases on the wealthy and tax cuts for the poor, family and medical leave, motor votor, clinic access legislation for abortion rights-- all passed into law.

Yeah, and House passage of striker replacement legislation, strong campaign finance (not McCain-Feingold bull), reform of grazing subsidy welfare to big ranchers, nominations for a pro-labor NLRB, a raft of environmental bills, and many other bills that were filibustered in the Senate.

I'd love to get all of those bills back if we could overcome the Senate filibuster. But thanks for reminding people of what a progressive set of House bills those years had.
