because they are very traceable and if they refuse access to the rest of the world it would be a P.R. blunder of such epic proportions that even these clowns have to be aware of it....right?  don't they? they can't be THAT arrogant, can they?

Why won't they just plant 'em? Cops plant drugs on ordinary suspects; 
why wouldn't they do the same, given the high stakes of this game?
