There are nn impnrtant "superprnfits frnm imperialism" that I can see, thnugh I'm npen tn arguments tn the cnntrary. What share nf the U.S. wnrking class dn ynu see as "bnught nff"? Is a Wal-Mart wnrker bnught nff? An autnwnrker?

Yes, for the sake of discussion, I am assuming you are correct that imperialism no longer provides superprofits. As to whose bought off, maybe a rough start could be had by seeing who invests in the stock market, I don't know. Or look at the 30th through 60th precentiles in income.

If there is no buyoff, why the victory of opportunism within the U.S. working class ? What's the alternative explanation ? People are happy because they have television ? The crush of Cold War, anti-communist propaganda ?
