FWIW, this kind of thing happens all the time.  Military aircrews make
it their business to know how to effectively deceive the ATC system for
just such occasions (which occur on nearly a daily basis).  Fake
callsigns, fake flight plans, changing callsigns mid-flight ... all in a
day's work.
