Unfortunately, you are right about that, Ulhas. Most of these people indiscriminately support anyone who is against the US, because they claim such forces are OBJECTIVELY progressive. Now OBJECTIVELY is a very revealing word, because, in fact, such Leftists ignore the existence of SUBJECTS. For SUBJECTS who hope, desire, love, fight and suffer, it does not matter what name the oppressor ascribes to himself. But for the ideologue, these subjects are not subjects, but just objects to move according to some plan, sicilian defense, ruy lopez, etc, like so many pieces on a chessboard.
