GDP grew 6.8% year-on-year in the first quarter and 7.2% in the second.
Goods production accounted for 44.3% of GDP structure in the third quarter, market services made up 45.8% and non-market services 9.9%. Industry accounted for 24.6% of GDP, agriculture for 10.7%, construction for 8.2%, transport and telecommunications for 9.6%, and trade (wholesale and retail), restaurant services and procurement 20.3%.
The government forecasts economic growth of 6.6% in 2003, compared with 4.3% in 2002. (Interfax)
