I have to admit that I find that increasingly difficult to argue against. If that is what Mr. Dean is saying before he even got the Democratic nomination, one wonder what will happen if he gets elected. It is like a violent boyfriend - if he is violent while dating (i.e. when he is on his best behavior), it will almost certainly get worse after he gets married.
BTW, I also checked Mr. Kucinich's web site - unlike Mr. Dean, he remains silent (as of writing this posting) on the recent boastings of the Bush gang about Mr. Hussein. He did not feel the urge to jump on the bandwagon of US triumphalism - and by doing so he gained quite a bit in my eyes. But even or fearless moderator Doug does not feel he is electable, and for a good reason: the Bubbas like ass kicking and gore (no pun intended).
Therefore, you view

is overly optimistic. I do not think anything will move in that direction in this country in my life time. If anything, things will get worse.
I will nonetheless consider supporting some radical organization next time I have some spare change. Any suggestions?
