That is perhaps why the Bush gang wants the "trial" to take place in
Iraq and be administered by the Iraqis. That will make the legal
formalities you mention superfluous. Just like shipping the prisoners
to Egypt to be tortured on the US behalf. Someone else doing the dirty
work so the gangsters in Washington DC can have nominally "clean" hands.
