This is odd. I can't make out what "God" has to do with any of the things you mention. Men perpetrate any number of horrors on "religious" grounds, but we know better, don't we?

I'd say, on the whole, that man is responsible for 99% of earthly misery. Why doesn't "God" put a stop to it? Maybe because "God" is not a big version of a benevolent parent who makes sure that the kids don't get hurt.

As for the utter vulgarity of the concept of a personal "God," concerned with the exaltation and gratification of unconscious little egos, what can I say, except that it shows the childishness that underlies this concept of what "God" is about or for.
