Of course it isn't counter-productive. The U.S is getting ready to kill thousands of Iraqis. It's already killed tens of thousands. This action might cause some inconvenience for a few drivers, but that pales in comparison to the inconvenience that is about to be launched against the Iraqi people.
So, would you ask the same question about labor strikes?
