This was interesting, especially the part about the memo by future Supreme Court Justice Lewis Powell.  It seems to be the kind of vulgar capitalist internal memo that Noam Chomsky regularly refers to to show what is on the mind of the idle classes and their functionaries.  Actually, I checked on it and Chomsky does indeed refer to this memo in "Manufacturing Consent".
