Wouldn't that be immensely risky? "Assaulting a police officer" is a felony - I think there were 5 or 6 such arrests in NYC on Saturday - and assaulting one to steal his or her horse would be taken as an attack on state power itself. Which it is, right? And wouldn't the pigs come down really hard on that?
