I agree re: antiwar sentiment in the Detroit Black community. The question is will that sentiment manifest itself in future demonstrations? The statement by the NOI representative at the rally was very interesting in that a) they were there at all and b) the statement was IMHO a straight-forward anti-war perspective. As you related about the large turnout for Farrakhan's speech a while back, the Nation seems like they are staking out some political territory here and that could be very interesting (and challenging) for the movement.
