> What, have the comrades grown tired Workers World editorials?
There's no point in talking with you. In the first place you never read anything about the semiotics of boxing in a Workers World editorial. In the second place I said 'coalition meeting', not 'party meeting'. In the third place, when -I- think of the Left, I think of the people who staged and spoke at the anti-war demonstration the other day, including a Black minister and police brutality opponent, a young Palestinian guy, a radical nun who's going to do 3 months inside for School of the Americas, a Latina community organizer, an alderman, a gay socialist with the Chicago Anti-Bashing Network, and so on. That's without even mentioning the 'Queer to the Left' women who had signs like "Bush + Dick = Fucked" and stuff, speaking of "dick jokes". The lead organizer for the action was Ifti Nasim, a gay Pakistani poet and newspaper columnist, who unfortunately had a heart attack the day before the action. That's what -I- think of when I think of the left. That's what -my- left is like, but you can speak for your own experience, I suppose. What are we talking about here??? The left is the people who are doing left stuff, not the people who are writing in some kind of esoteric journal.
> Right. Taibbi's just making shit up. Doesn't touch on reality at all.
Maybe yours. Not mine.
