Hmm, I just figured out that I am "Tho". You are right. Regrettably, I did use the word "primary" reason, which is reductionist. I agree that the motivation may be "overdetermined", that there could be a number of motivating factors.

I dont doubt that oil figures, but I am just not sure to what extent, and to what extent the other motives figure. Let me put it that way.
