I might have taken this argument seriously at one time, but in the context of posts like http://squawk.ca/lbo-talk/0301/0710.html it looks a lot like a figleaf for your antidemocratic, dare I say _aristocratic_ politics. Get bent, comrade.

Do you think I need a lecture in dialectical theory? If capitalist greed has a purifying effect on our political consciousness it's because we oppose it, not because we declare our allegiance to the "investor class" at every conceivable opportunity.
