And I'm flabbergasted this guy is published, let alone holds a chair at the Institute for Advanced Study. Straw men, errors of fact (recent use of chemical weapons? Gosh, 15 years go by quickly. Recklessness in invading Kuwait? Can you say "April Glaspie," Mike?) and ham-fisted prose ("war isn't the last resort, for 'lastness' is a metaphysical condition") all in the current issue of the New York Review of Books. At least it's free on the website. But I think I'm owed two laundry loads worth of quarters for slogging through it. -- Curtiss
