They are charging $40 round trip. Plus there is a $5 fee to park one's car at the Teachers union where the buses are loading people. That is still in inaccessible building too.
>So how about renting a van with a lift, picking up a
>couple of other riders and re-charging the rental to the organizers?
>If they don't re-imburse you, hell sue them for the rental. You gotta
>know lawyers who would do it for fun. If you don't, I do.
Yea, if I had started this yesterday afternoon but it is 10:30 am Sat now and I am listening to the Washington march rally on KPFK.
My cat Buster died earlier this week, so I've been thrown out of my usual getting ahead of the curve on this bus trip thing. I miss his little kitty body (well should say big, he weighed 24 pounds), his blanket not being occupied by my bed, him not being here to greet me when I come home. I had him for 12 years. So this was no week to have to do battle with ANSWER.
Thanks for the ideas, they are right on. I bet this will not be the end of the protests so opportunities, no doubt will arise in the future.
