"In December, ex-smoker Mayor Michael Bloomberg signed a strict smoking ban in New York City. Bloomberg is also trying to get smoking banned in Central Park."

why do all the good things happen when I'm not there?

...and why does it take millionaire republicans to do things that are so obviously sensible?

even the bush brothers, dimwit in texas and the other one in florida, made attempts at college access that leaned in the direction of what lani guinere (spelling?) was talking about when chickenshit clinton dropped her...allowing the top percentile in, from each school district, etc...

smoking ought to be banned in public, period...bloomberg is on the right track...but I still reserve the right to hate rich people. fs
